Property：White crystalline powder, with slight hygroscopicity, having slight Formic acid odour. It's soluble in water, lightly soluble in ethanol, don't soluble in ether. specific gravity: 1.919. Melting point: 253℃.
Usage：
1. Used as Leather tanning agent, catalyzer, stabilizer in leather industry, serves as camouflage salt in the chrome tanning method.
2. Used in the printing and dyeing of textiles as a reducing agent.
3. Used as the raw material in the manufacturers of sodium hydrosulphite, formic acid and oxalic acid.
4. Used in completion fluid in oil field, drilling fluids.
5. Used as anti-frosting agent in concreteand usedin snow-melting.
6. Used for alkyd resin coating, plasticizer, high explosive, acid resistant material, aviation lubricating oil, and adhesive additive.
7. The complex ion of trivalent metal can be formed in solution. It has a buffer function, so it can be used for calibrated pH value of strong acid.
